    Background

    Greg Felton was born and raised in and around Vancouver B.C. and has been teaching English since 2003. He has taught grammar, phonology, writing, speaking, debating and many examination prep courses: TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, BCE and provincial exams. He has also taught economics and philosophy. Greg is fluent in English, French and Russian and has a good working ability in Mandarin. Overall he has studied 14 languages.

    Greg holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian studies and a Master’s Degree in political science from UBC as well as an ESL diploma from Winfield College and a journalism certificate from Langara College. An award-winning journalist, Greg specializes in grammar and writing. His aim is to help students think like writers and learn the skills of essay organization. He takes students through each stage of writing—researching, organizing, outlining, drafting, editing and proofreading—to ensure that they write with purpose and accuracy.
