You receive immediate feedback and error correction with our after school one-to-one advising,  and you also benefit from our expert advisers who can help you get the information you need to attend a North American university. For those who want to go the extra mile, in-home tutoring is also available.

Admission Requirements:

  • An interview with a Language Arts Institute instructor will be required before acceptance into the program to assess the student's skill level and aptitude in English.
  • Furthermore, potential students need to achieve a score of 50% or higher on the Language Arts Institute diagnostic test or a score that is 60% of the maximum possible score of an official English test (e.g., an overall score of 5.4 or greater on the IELTS, an overall score of 7.2 or greater on the CELPIP, an overall score of 72 or greater on the TOEFL, etc.) to qualify for admission.

Basic Overview:

This six month course is intended for serious students who wish to take and succeed in the TOEFL examination. The primary areas of focus are as follows:
  1. TOEFL Vocabulary
  2. Reading Section of the TOEFL Exam
  3. Writing Section of the TOEFL Exam
  4. Listening Section of the TOEFL Exam
  5. Speaking Section of the TOEFL Exam
  6. Mock TOEFL Exams
There will be a vocabulary quiz on the 1st day of every 2nd week. There will be a final vocabulary exam on the penultimate day of the course. There will be a full mock TOEFL exam at the end of every 2nd month.

Fees and Payment Policy

Domestic:
  • Application fee: $100

International:
  • Application fee: $200

  • Language Arts Institute accepts the following forms of payment for its programs and courses: credit card, debit card, e-transfer and cheque. Cash is also accepted but only up to $1,000 per program or course. Any balance must be paid by other means.
